Jettyless LNG

Wilhelmshaven FSRU

Wilhelmshaven II: Fast-tracking continuous HPNG import using the IQuay® F-Class.

Wilhelmshaven II is an offshore LNG import terminal operated by Deutsche Energy Terminal GmbH (DET). The system was planned, approved, and connected to the grid in only two and a half years, surpassing industry standards.

The gas terminal is connected to the grid via ECOnnect's proprietary IQuay F-Class System. It covers approximately 8,5% of Germany's total energy demand, and remains one of Europe's most utilized, critical import terminals, enabled by the ECOnnect technology.

A word from our client

"Wilhelmshaven II combines several technologies unique in Germany and Europe: On the one hand, ECOnnect Energy's flexible pipeline system for direct transfer of natural gas to land without a pipe bridge. This has significantly reduced the impact on the seabed ecosystem. (...)"
