Welcome to our sustainability survey on the maritime sector.

The goal of this survey is to gather sustainability insights from experts working within the maritime sector and people with an interest in the maritime sector. You can find more information below the survey.

We are excited to invite industry experts and professionals working in the maritime sector to share their insights and opinions regarding sustainability. As we move forward with a focus on environmental responsibility and sustainability, it is essential to understand the perceptions and priorities of individuals with hands-on experience in the industry.

We recognize that the maritime industry is a critical contributor to the global economy, yet it also has a significant impact on the environment. The International Maritime Organization (IMO) has set ambitious goals for shipping to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and promote clean energy. As the industry adapts to emerging sustainability trends, it is crucial to assess the attitudes and behaviors of individuals regarding sustainable practices.

Our survey consists of seven questions that will help us gain a deeper understanding of your perspectives on sustainability in the maritime sector. We appreciate your feedback and participation, and as a token of our gratitude, we will be announcing a winner for the survey who will receive a reMarkable 2 tablet. The winner will be announced on LinkedIn on the 14th of June. (The contest is now closed, but you are still welcome to participate in the survey).

We want to emphasize that this survey is intended for industry experts and professionals working within the maritime sector. However, we welcome anyone with an interest in sustainability and the maritime sector to participate. Your input will be valuable in helping us gain insights into sustainable practices and their impact on the maritime sector.

Your input will be kept confidential and used solely for the purpose of this study. We will not share your personal responses with any third party without your explicit permission.

We value your time and opinions, and we appreciate your participation in our sustainability survey on the maritime sector. Thank you!

Please note that in order to be eligible to receive a reMarkable 2 tablet, the winner must be a resident of an EU/EEA country. We would like to clarify that this survey is not endorsed or sponsored by ReMarkable. We will pick one random winner from the entries. (The contest is now closed, but you are still welcome to participate in the survey).

Spread mooring uses multiple anchors and standard components for quicker, less intrusive installation, while dolphin mooring relies on fixed structures that require heavy civil works and longer lead times. This makes spread mooring more flexible and environmentally friendly, with higher operational uptime and easier adaptation to floating transfer systems like the IQuay C-Class. Recent projects show that spread mooring is becoming a preferred choice for LNG terminals where speed, sustainability, and adaptability are priorities.

ECOnnect Energy is pleased to announce significant progress in the development of the IQuay Regas Terminal, having recently secured two pre-FEED contracts for the fast-track modular regasification (regas) solution. The IQuay Regas Terminal consists of a Floating Storage Unit (FSU), a modular floating regas platform (the R-Class), ship mooring and subsea or floating pipelines to shore for transfer of high-pressure gas. These two milestones underscore the growing market interest in fast, floating, and flexible alternatives to traditional regasification infrastructure.
