ECOnnect Energy develops critical infrastructure solutions for the green energy transition. Our patented floating energy terminals, IQuay, allow ships to connect directly to shore for energy transfer, without the need for extensive port construction in coastal areas. By reducing costs, saving time, and lowering emissions, IQuay provides a flexible and sustainable alternative for energy supply, supporting both national and international energy projects.
A long-term vision and persistent execution
Founded 13 years ago, ECOnnect Energy has grown steadily by combining technological innovation with a clear focus on practical solutions. Large infrastructure projects often require extensive planning, and our first major contract took five years to secure. Today, from our headquarters in Oslo, we continue to develop scalable solutions that meet the evolving needs of the energy sector.
Recognition for innovation and impact
Winning the Deloitte Fast 50 award is a recognition of ECOnnect Energy’s growth, and of the value our solutions deliver. It underscores the importance of developing technologies that are both innovative and operationally effective, enabling rapid deployment of energy infrastructure without disrupting sensitive environments.
“This recognition reflects the long-term dedication of everyone at ECOnnect Energy,” says CEO Morten Christophersen. “It is particularly rewarding to see our technology acknowledged for its contribution to building resilient and flexible energy infrastructure.”
We extend our gratitude to Deloitte for this recognition and to all our partners, collaborators, and employees whose expertise and commitment have made this achievement possible. While this award is an important milestone, it also motivates us to continue advancing solutions that accelerate the global energy transition.
